PHILIP HARE
Director and Senior Consultant

Philip has been assisting companies with their business and expansion plans for more than 30 years.  During this time Philip has provided a range of specialist services to international and domestic clients. These include market research, market sector reviews, reseller and distribution channel identification and engagement, business improvement reviews, strategic planning, and acquisition searches.

Before establishing Strategy Australia, Philip held senior management positions in large, global corporations, including Divisional Manager and Group Marketing and Product Development Manager. He has also held contract management positions for client companies including Regional General Manager Professional Services, and APAC Regional Managing Director, and has worked on joint consulting assignments with McKinsey & Co.

Philip holds certificates in Mechanical Engineering from England and Australia.  He is an Associate Member of the Australian Marketing Institute, a Member of the Australian Computer Society, a Member of the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association (PCIA), a Certified Software Asset Management professional and is a director of two companies.

BOB EGGLETON
Senior Consultant

Bob has extensive experience in business management, business planning, marketing, new product development, and engineering. Having worked for several well know multi-national companies, Bob has gained significant experience in Asian, European, and American markets. The diverse range of products Bob has managed demonstrates his flexibility and adaptability.

Before becoming a consultant, Bob used his engineering skills to design and manufacture a variety of objects, from heavy engineering to small componentry. Having managed large multi-discipline workshops and marketing teams, Bob understands the end-to-end process of getting a new product to market.

Bob holds two degrees, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies (Psychology). He also holds further qualifications in Marketing and Business Management.

Senior Consultant

Elena is a subject-matter expert on international relations, trade, and investment. She has 15 years of experience in the private and public sectors in Australia and has assisted Australian and international companies in expanding into new markets.

Elena’s approach to client projects is based on drawing actionable insights from analysis of competitive, markets, and geopolitical environments which in turn provides clients with a comprehensive, well-informed international expansion strategy. 

Elena is highly skilled in helping companies navigate a complex world using extensive global expertise and data-driven analysis.  Elena has an in-depth understanding of the megatrends that are transforming international trade and how they affect real companies intending to expand globally. 

Elena holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in international relations and political science from The University of Queensland. She also holds a Diploma in Project Management from Scope Training (Perth) and an Advanced Diploma in International Business Management from the Centre of Customs and Excise Studies (Canberra).
