Client
The client is a global leader in the engineering design and manufacture of high-value industrial-size reciprocating compressor systems and technology. The client’s customised compressor systems are used in the upstream oil and gas, gas transport and storage, refinery, chemical, petrochemical, and industrial gas sectors, including hydrogen.
Objective
With Australia’s burgeoning hydrogen market, our client wished to:
- Verify the theoretical market and undertake a project assessment; and
- To open the door to prospects (project owners) in Australia as a basis for commencing a visit to Australia to establish key customer and business contacts.
Following a detailed search of potential consultants, the client selected and engaged Strategy Australia due to its understanding of and experience in the hydrogen and heavy engineering market sectors.
Outcome
Strategy Australia undertook a highly successful project, using its knowledge of and contacts in the hydrogen sector and the engineering design and construction consultancy market sectors.
This culminated in the client making a two (2) week visit to Australia and holding thirteen (13) face-to-face meetings with large design and construct engineering consultancies across Australia.
Following the meetings, the client commenced engaging directly with the engineering consultancies and is providing large-scale proposals for a variety of hydrogen compression projects.
